b. Consulting Experts is an F&B, Hospitality, and Tourism consultancy firm based in Cambodia since 2017. We specialize across hospitality, food & beverage, and real estate development, partnering with top-tier local owners, investors, and conglomerates.

We are expanding our team in Phnom Penh and actively recruiting for three dynamic positions across our real estate development and operational consulting projects.


Position 1: Junior Project Manager (Full-Time)

Overview

Working directly under the Senior Project Consultant, you will play a central operational role for a major 29-month landmark 11-storey mixed-use urban development project in Phnom Penh featuring commercial spaces, a fitness facility, and luxury condominiums. You will work in English and prepare content in both Khmer and English.


Job Responsibilities


  • Project Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment: Assist the Senior Consultant in daily operational coordination with architectural teams, engineering specialists (MEP/Structure), Quantity Surveyors (QS), and the Main Contractor.

  • Site Oversight & Progress Reporting: Participate in weekly site inspections, audit daily/weekly technical logs, track progress against the Master Schedule, and assist in drafting Executive Monthly Progress Reports.

  • Data Governance & Archiving: Set up, organize, and manage the central cloud repository (Document Tracking System) to systematically archive drawings, RFI logs, meeting minutes, and technical submittals.

  • Procurement & FF&E Logistics Management: Support international and local procurement schedules for common areas, commercial spaces, and condominium Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), including sample tracking and quality audits.

  • Steering Meetings & Governance: Organize Client and consultant steering meetings, issue formal Minutes of Meetings (MoM), and maintain the Action Item Tracking Log.

  • Cost & Variation Tracking: Assist the PM/QS team in recording Variation Orders (VO), auditing contractor interim payment submittals, and maintaining budget tracking files.


Requirements


  • Background/Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business Administration (Bachelor's or Master's).

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in project coordination, real estate development, or construction management.

  • Excellent English and Khmer verbal and written communication skills (French is a plus).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Canva, and project tracking tools (MS Project, Asana, or similar).

  • Rigorous, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under site pressure.

  • Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working across office environments and active construction sites.

Overview

A 6-month internship on an 11-storey mixed-use real estate development in Phnom Penh. You will support the Senior Consultant in daily project tracking, document management, contractor follow-ups, and FF&E sourcing for residential units and commercial sports/wellness areas. Content will be prepared in both Khmer and English.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Meeting Support: Organize team and consultant meetings, take structured notes, draft formal Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), and maintain action item trackers.

  • Document Archiving & Tracking: Maintain the centralized digital document cloud (Data Repository), filing all project plans, technical submittals, and consultant reports.

  • Site Visits & Weekly Tracking: Accompany the Senior PM on site visits, assist in taking site logs/photos, and help collect progress data from contractors.

  • FF&E & Sourcing Support: Assist in sourcing local and international suppliers, tracking sample catalogs, and updating procurement tracking sheets for interior packages.

  • Reporting Assistance: Help compile background information, charts, and slide decks for Client monthly progress presentations.


Requirements

  • Enrolled in, or recently graduated from, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related university major.

  • Previous internship or initial work experience required.

  • Excellent English and Khmer verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.

  • Proactive, eager to learn, disciplined with deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Internship Allowance: $180 / month.

  • Schedule & Location: 6-Month Contract (Full-time or Part-time min. 24h/week), Monday to Friday in Phnom Penh.

Overview

This role focuses on structuring and optimizing operations for diverse hospitality and F&B clients in Phnom Penh. You will design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), craft Operational Manuals, audit client facilities, and coordinate specialized client projects. You will work in English and prepare content in both Khmer and English.


Job Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Process Structuring & Operational Manuals: Create, coordinate, and update customized Operational Manuals covering all hospitality departments (HR, Front Office, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Bar, Kitchen). Design SOPs and develop recipe costing and menu engineering frameworks.

  • Project Management & Client Follow-up: Track and coordinate specific client dossiers, monitor project milestones, and ensure high-quality delivery of consulting deliverables.

  • Audits, Quality Control & Training Coordination: Set up internal operational routines, conduct regular on-site audits, prepare client facilities for external certification audits (e.g., HACCP, ISO), and organize multi-departmental training programs.

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, source, and evaluate FF&E and OS&E based on specific client project requirements.


Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Quality Assurance, Food Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in hospitality environments (hotels, F&B management, central kitchens) or operational consulting/project management.

  • Strong understanding of overall hospitality operations (F&B, Rooms Division) and food hygiene/HACCP principles.

  • Strong process-structuring ability, documentation skills, and problem-solving mindset.

  • Excellent English and Khmer communication skills.

  • Preferred: Background or interest in FF&E/OS&E procurement, inventory control, and cost awareness.
